Real Kashmir Football Club  (FC) on Monday registered another victory in the ongoing I-League in the match played on the synthetic turf at TRC Srinagar.

Real Kashmir FC beat Chennai City 1-0 after Ivorian striker Gnohere Krizo scored the match-winning goal in the in the 81st minute of the match propelling the ‘Snow Leopards’ to second place on the league table with 28 points second spot with 28 points each from 14 matches.

Real Kashmir dominated throughout the match with a lot of shots at the opposition goal while Chennai had far fewer attempts.

The stadium was jam-packed as usual. They supported both the teams. Real Kashmir FC is going to play their next match against Churchill Brothers on January 31.

Reacting to the victory, Jammu and Kashmir’s former chief minister Omar Abdullah said the debut season gets better and better.

“The debut season gets better & better. Great result @realkashmirfc. Well played @ChennaiCityFC,” Omar wrote on his Twitter handle.
