SRINAGAR: Real Kashmir FC defeated Churchill Brothers FC Goa by 1-0 in the Hero I-league at the picturesque TRC stadium in Srinagar.

Although the first half went goalless, Real Kashmir FC looked strong. Passionate supporters of the host team continuously cheered for their team throughout the game.

Nurudeen Ibrahim of Real Kashmir FC scored the first goal of the game in the second half through a header from the sidelines and gave a lead of one goal to Real Kashmir FC.

Despite several strikes of Churchill Brothers FC Goa that were aimed at the Real Kashmir FC goalpost, they did not manage to score a goal.

It is the first win of Real Kashmir FC against the Churchill Brothers in the seven head-to-head matches played between the two teams.

Real Kashmir FC had a solid start this season with victories against Neroca FC (1-0), Rajasthan United FC (2-0), and a goalless draw against Gokulam Kerala FC.

On the other hand, Churchill Brothers had a distressing start with two losses against Rajasthan United FC (1-2) and Sreenidi Deccan FC (2-3) and a draw of 1-1 against Mumbai Kenkre FC.
