SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir authorities on Monday deported 150 Bangladeshi nationals who were allegedly staying illegally in the Union Territory, officials said.
The Bangladeshi nationals were taken aboard in a special Indian Air Force aircraft to Bagdogra, where they will be handed over to Border Security Force (BSF).
Sources said another batch of Bangladeshi nationals is scheduled to be deported on October 7.
The deportations are part of the ongoing process by authorities to send back Bangladeshi nationals found to be staying illegally in Jammu and Kashmir, sources said.
