IAF C-17 to go to Srinagar to get mortal remains of slain CRPF troopers’ killed in Lethpora attack

Following an attack on CRPF troopers in Lethpora Awantipora area of south Kashmir, a team of Air force from Hindon is likely to go to Srinagar to get the mortal remains of the slain CRPF troopers.

Media reports suggest that Indian Air Force C-17 from Hindson- an Indian air force base under the Western Air Command is likely to go to Srinagar and get the mortal remains of the slain troopers.

Earlier, on Thursday, forty-five paramilitary CRPF men were killed while 38 others were injured after a “suicide car bomber” rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the bus near Lethpora at around 03:15 pm, resulting into an intensive blast in which 45 paramilitary personnel were killed.
