Tina Dabi, IAS topper 2015, received medal from President of India on the valedictory function for her performance during the training course. Hours before the function, Tina took it to twitter where she dedicated the medal to Athar-ul-Shafi Khan, second topper of the same exam.
“The medal that the President will award me tomorrow at the Valedictory Function is dedicated to you Athar,” Tina tweeted.
“It would not have been possible without his continuous support and love,” writes Tina.
Athar, a resident of South Kashmir’s Mattan is in relationship with Tina. The two toppers met during the training at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy for Administration in Mussoorie and after few months broke the news on social site where the two love-birds posted their hangout photographs
Khan who could not get No 1, though soon, something special happened. He fell in love with No 1, Tina Dabi, a Delhi girl. Now both No 1 and No 2 are going to be a family. Khan is a Kashmiri Muslim, Dabi is Dalit and a Buddhist.
Khan is 23 and Dabi is 22. The latter has told reporters that the parents of both have agreed to walk the talk and get them married. They are going for an engagement and soon they plan to marry.
