SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir administration has relieved Syed Abid Rashid Shah, a 2012-batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, following his transfer to Chandigarh.
An order issued by the General Administration Department stated that Shah has been relieved with immediate effect to enable him to assume charge at his new posting. The order said the officer stands relieved from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir from the afternoon of February 20, 2026 to join his new assignment.
