SRINAGAR: Government forces on Tuesday defused an improvised explosive device (IED) planted by suspected militants in Tappar village of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Quoting official sources, news agency KNO reported that the security forces detected the IED planted on the road near petrol pump Tappar in  Pattan area of  Baramulla district.

The explosive material was later defused by the forces.
