SRINAGAR: An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was detected by security forces in the Qaimoh area of Kulgam district on Monday.
A senior police officer said that a joint team of police and security forces discovered the IED in Qaimoh.
A Bomb Disposal Squad was soon called to the scene, and efforts were underway to neutralise the device, the officer said.
Meanwhile, security forces have cordoned off the area as a precautionary measure. (GNS)
