SRINAGAR: Forces on Saturday found a suspected improvised explosive device (IED), planted on the roadside along Baramulla—Srinagar highway at Putkha area of Baramulla district.
Quoting a senior officer the news agency KNO reported that the security forces detected the explosive device lying by the roadside following which bomb disposal squad (BDS) was called in.
The officer said that following the detection of suspected IED, traffic on Baramulla—Srinagar highway has been halted from both sides as a precautionary measure.
