SRINAGAR

Shifting the ball in the court of separatists camp, Senior National Conference leader Ali Mohammad Sagar  Sunday challenged the separatist leadership of valley to come with a suggestion if Judicial Probe is unacceptable for the  ‘Shopian killings’.

Pertinently, Separatists earlier flayed the state government over the announcement of the judicial Inquiry in the Shopian killings by terming the probe a ‘mere eye wash’.

“let me ask them what should the government do, what else the government can do if the matter is not being investigated thoroughly ,”Sagar said adding that the impartial and genuine Judicial probe could unearth the real facts about the Shopian incident.

Talking to KNS, Sagar said that those who oppose the judicial inquiry into the Shopian incident should come forward with the way out. ”The government works under the system and the judicial inquiry can reveal the hidden things of the incident ”.

Expressing concern over the remarks about the announcement of the judicial inquiry in the Shopian incident, Sagar said that the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah announced the probe only after things about the incident remain suspicious. He further mentioned that the probe was ordered only to ascertain the facts and to reveal before masses the reality behind Shopian incident.

When asked about the  government’s decision of the relocation of the CRPF camp from Gargan area of Shopian, Sagar said that formalities about the matter has already been completed and authorities in the district have been intimidated about the government’s decision. “The CRPF camp will be relocated soon”
