IFS Officer Transferred from Mizoram to Jammu Kashmir

   

SRINAGAR: The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has ordered the transfer of senior Indian Forest Service officer Kamal Preet to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir from Mizoram with immediate effect.

According to an official order issued under C.No.134335 and F.No. 46011/1/2019-IFS-I (AGMUT), Kamal Preet, a 1997-batch IFS officer of the AGMUT cadre, has been posted as Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (APCCF), a Level-15 position in the pay matrix of Rs. 1,82,200–2,24,100.

The order directs the officer to join her new place of posting without delay and submit a joining report to the Ministry immediately.

Kamal Preet has earlier served in the posts of Additional Director General (Education and Recruitment board), Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) Dehradun; General Manager at Andaman and Nicobar Islands Forest and Plantation Development Corporation Limited (ANIFPDCL), Port Blair; Deputy Conservator of Forest (DCF), Department of Environment and Forests, Andaman and Nicobar islands; DCF, Department of Forests and Wildlife, Delhi; Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Department of Environment and Forest, Arunachal Pradesh among others.

Kamal Preet pursued M.Phil in Botany prior to joining the Indian Forest Services.
