SRINAGAR
P. K. Singh, Inspector General (Operations), CRPF, Srinagar, called on N N Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan here Monday.
Singh briefed the Governor about the overall law and order situation in the Area of Responsibility, which includes Srinagar, Ganderbal and Budgam districts.
According to government spokesman, he also informed the Governor about certain aspects of the role and responsibility being discharged by his Force, in coordination with the J&K Police.
This was Singh’s first meeting with the Governor after recently taking over as the Inspector General (Operations), CRPF, Srinagar.
