Entrance Tests for Management Programmes (Openmat-xxxiii) and Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Cardiology (PGDCC) programmes for the sessions starting from July, 2013 on Sunday February 24, 2013 through Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will be held on 10am to 1pm for the course of Openmat-xxxiii and from 10am to 12pm for the course of PGDCC.

The tests are being organized in 121 Examination Centres accommodating 15,619 candidates of various courses, said Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) spokesperson.

There is only one Examination Centre (Code 1232) under Regional Centre Jammu in Goverment MAM College, Dr Ambedkar Road, Jammu accommodating 224 candidates for Openmat-xxxiii and two candidates of PG diploma in Clinical Cardiology (PGDCC), he added.

“The Hall-Tickets have already been dispatched to the candidates by the University.  The particulars of Hall-Tickets are also available on the IGNOU Website www.ignou.ac.in .  In case of non-receipt of Hall-Ticket by any candidate, the Hall-Ticket can be downloaded from the University Website by entering Name and Date of Birth of the candidate and report to the Examination Centre.  In case candidates are unable to download the Hall-Ticket, they can contact the Regional Centre and obtain the information of Examination Centre allocated and report to the Examination Centre with a proof of submission of Entrance Test application form along with recent passport size photograph”, said Spokesperson.

He said that in such case they have to submit an undertaking at the Examination Centre stating that in the event of information furnished by them found to be incorrect, their candidature would be cancelled.  He said candidates must report at the Examination Centre 45 minutes before commencement of the Entrance Test.

Ironically, University has deputed Central Observers in all the 121 examination centres to ensure smooth conduct of the entrance test.
