Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Abdul Ghani Mir Friday approved promotion in respect of 51 officials of the rank of Sg. Constables, Head Constable and ASI’s, beside, in-situ grade promotions were also approved for 243 selection grade constable.
As per a statement the departmental promotion committee DPC under the chairmanship of IGP Kashmir, Mir meet at Srinagar today. IGP approved 51 promotions in the rank of selection grade Constable, Head constable and Assistant Sub-Inspectors of Police. Besides, 243 in-situ grade promotions in favour of selection grade constable of Jammu and Kashmir Police of Kashmir Zone were also approved.
