Immoral Trafficking Racket Busted in North Kashmir, Four Arrested

   

SRINAGAR: Baramulla Police have busted a trafficking racket operating in the Barzulla Kunzer area. Acting on specific and credible intelligence, a swift and well-coordinated raid was carried out by a team from Police Station Kunzer, leading to the arrest of four individuals allegedly involved in immoral trafficking.

The arrested persons have been identified as Ab Ahad Waza, son of Ab Khaliq Waza, resident of Utikoo Sheikhpora, Mohd Abdullah Waza, son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Waza, resident of Barzulla Kunzer, Bilal Ahmad Bhat, son of Ghulam Rasool Bhat, resident of Bamroda, currently residing at Utikoo and one woman, whose identity has been withheld

A case has been registered under FIR No. 37/2025 at Police Station Kunzer. The charges fall under sections 3, 4, and 5 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act (PITA). Authorities have launched further investigations to trace and dismantle any broader network connected to this operation.
