As per a police spokesperson Pampore police has arrested one person identified as Abdul Ahad Jan son of Dilawar Jan resident of Rather Mohalla Ajas, Bandipora for extorting Rs 38000 from a truck driver Kulvinder Singh son of Malkeet Singh resident of Kahalma, Hoshiarpur Punjab near Chandhara on the Srinagar Jammu Highway.
Meanwhile a case FIR No.56/2013 under section 392, 419 RPC has been registered in police station Pampore in this regard.
