SRINAGAR: Imtiaz Ismail Parray, a 2009 batch IPS Officer of AGMUT cadre, has assumed the position of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) at Sector HQRS (Spl-Ops) SSB Srinagar, following the directive of the Director General of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
Prior to this, Parray has served in various capacities, including SP Ganderbal, SSP Srinagar, and SSP Crime Branch in Jammu and Kashmir.
Parray took over the responsibilities from Hemam Basant Kumar Singh, the outgoing DIG of Sector HQR SSB Srinagar, who has been transferred to Frontier HQRS SSB Guwahati.
Parray bid farewell to Singh and officially assumed his duties at Sector HQRS (Spl-Ops) SSB Srinagar.
