Accusing CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed of “dancing on the tunes of RSS”, militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen Tuesday said that the head of “puppet” J&K government has completely “surrendered” before communal anti-Muslim gang and by “using the mask of Kuka Parrey has been utilizing all his resources to tarnish the religious identity of the land (Kashmir) that is related to Sufi Saint Shah Hamdan (RA)”.
In a statement to Srinagar based news agency, Hizb spokesperson quoting outfit Chief Syed Sallahuddin said, “communal incidents are on rise in Modi’s India while in the name of cow and beef ban Muslim youth are being targeted in the length and breadth of India.”
“RSS is truly at the helm of affairs and the crux of the RSS philosophy is only Hindus can live in India. It is really unfortunate that the head of Jammu and Kashmir Government has surrendered before this group and his actions have not only been inviting wrath from the people but from God as well,” he said.
Addressing Hizb Command Council, Syed Sallahuddin said, “it is ironic that on the one hand Muslims and poet, scholars and eminent writers from majority community have been returning awards against growing intolerance in India while on the other hand our Mir and Jaffar like people have been busy and waiting to receive Narendra Modi.”
“Modi visit to Kashmir is aimed at to mislead the international community, however, the international community know it well that the ultimate goal of Kashmir people is freedom. Kashmiri people will never compromise on their identity, religion, and polity. They will participate in Syed Ali Geelani’s Million March to counter Modi’s visit while only army personnel in civvies along with Shiv Sainiks would be seen in Modi’s rally,” Sallahuddin said and appealed to people to “defy all the restrictions and participate in Million March in large numbers”.
“During the meeting, tributes were paid to martyrs who lost their lives in different encounters with Indian Army,” the statement added.
