Following the reports that the B Ed papers were leaked days before exams, Kashmir University on Monday came up with clarification saying papers were not leaked but ‘coincidently’ matched with guess papers.

On Saturday B Ed students after appearing in the examination of Development of Education paper went on complaining that the paper was already available to the maximum students prior to exam date.

Students also allege that the Psychology paper was also leaked two days before the scheduled day of exam mostly to the non-local students.

Talking to a local news agency GNS, Controller Examination, Prof. Abdul Salam Bhat said, that the leakage of papers is incorrect as the real story is that “Some national publications had bring out some guess papers for the B Ed students which incidentally matched with our question papers.’’

Bhat further added that, “We have noticed that majority of the questions of Saturdays’ paper were similar to the guess paper published by Vinod Publication based in Lucknow, which has happened accidently.”

There is no question of paper leakage at all, Salam said adding that University of Kashmir is a prestigious institution which strictly adheres the secrecy whether to annual entrance examination or postgraduate examinations or Bachelors examination.
