Hurriyat patriarch, Syed Ali Geelani on Wednesday expressed worry over the increase in the militant killings recently.

Paying tribute to slain militants killed in Hajan & Handwara encounters, Geelani, in a statement, expressed concern over such increasing incidents and said that it is outcome of rigid, inflexible and obscure approach of India.

“No sane person on earth feels pleasure over these deadly incidents and loss of human lives is indeed painful.” However, while criticizing the rulers in Delhi, Hurriyat Chairman said that they are blood thirsty and it is their arrogance of power that they were never serious to understand and resolve the vexed issue relating to Jammu and Kashmir. “This state of sick mindedness is proving extremely detrimental & this approach has escalated the uncertainty in the region, said Syed Ali Geelani. Hurriyat Chairman advised & asked Indian authorities to desist from stubborn attitude, use wisdom and help to solve this long pending issue.”
