Terming the day to day killings of militants the result of increased activities of the “collaborators of the occupied forces”, Jammu Kashmir National Front chairperson, Nayeem Ahmad Khan Wednesday said, “militants are the assets of ongoing freedom struggle and it is the foremost duty f every conscious citizen to protect these assets who are risking their lives for a great cause of freedom.”

Expressing shock over the killing of a civilian, Khan said that those who protest against the force’s cordons and crackdowns are doing “a great service to the cause”.

Under going house detention, Khan in a statement paid homage to slain militants Showkat Ahmad Lone of Lelehar and Gulzar Ahmad Bhat of Telangam.

He said, “India has created a good number of informers who provide information to the occupied forces about the presence of militants causing damage to the resistance movement.”

“Those who have fallen prey to India and work as informers should know that that they are becoming part of the killings of their own brethren which only harms the freedom struggle and adds to the miseries of Kashmiri Muslims.”

“The cold blooded murder of Bilal Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Ahad Bhat at the hands of occupied forces has once again proved that Indian forces have become habitual of Muslim blood so they shower bullets whenever they get a chance,” Khan said adding, “this is done only to pass on a message that India hardly matters about the people living in Kashmir.”

Khan expressed sympathy with the parents of the slain militants in district Pulwama during last week. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of all those who were injured due to brutal force used by the men in uniform in Pulwama, Lelehar, Ratnipora, Padgampora and around.

“The militants are proving by their deeds that they are the real heroes and symbols of resistance because they remain ready to scarify their lives for the noble cause of freedom. The huge number of martyrs has made it clear that Kashmiri people are on path of an indigenous struggle and they are well aware of their goal,” Khan said.

He added, “to renew the pledge that we will not take rest unless we achieve freedom, is the only and best way to pay tributes to all our martyrs including Shaheed Showkat, Shaheed Gulzar and Shaheed Bilal who laid their lives for the cause of complete freedom”.
