Srinagar
The armies of India and Pakistan on Sunday exchanged heavy firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in the twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch in Jammu division.
An official said that the firing from across the border started in Rajouri’s Manjkote sector and in Balakote sector of Poonch on Sunday late evening.
He said that Indian army manning the fence also responded the firing strongly.
However, there were no immediate reports of any damage from either side.
