Armies of India and Pakistan exchanged gunfire along Line of Control in Poonch district on Wednesday night, media reports claimed.
According to reports, Pakistani army resorted to unprovoked firing on Indian posts in Digwar sector of the district, during the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.
Reports added that Indian army personnel manning the fence retaliated accordingly. However, there was no loss to life or damage reported from either side of the LoC.
