The armies of India and Pakistan on Wednesday traded fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
An official said that the Pakistani army violated ceasefire near Churanda village in Hajipeer area of Border town Uri this evening.
Indian army, he said, was retaliating effectively and strongly.
