SRINAGAR: India and Pakistan armies on Sunday exchanged heavy fire and shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Shahpur, Kirni and Degwar sectors of Poonch district.
Reports said that the Pakistani army opened fire in Shahpur, Kirni and Degwar sectors at 9:15 by firing with small arms and mortars, however, the Indian army manning the fence retaliated strongly.
Meanwhile, there are no reports of any damage or loss of life from either side.
