In yet another cross-border firing incident, the soldiers of both India and Pakistan exchange mortar shelling and firing on Wednesday along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Indian officials, the Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked firing at Indian positions on the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district.

Using small arms and automatics they targeted Indian positions in the Nowshera sector, he said.

The violation by Pakistan started at 9 a.m. Indian positions retaliated effectively. Firing exchanges between the two sides continued for nearly one hour, Defence sources said.
