Terming the recent poll boycott as people’s verdict and writing on the wall for New Delhi and its local ‘stooges’, senior separatist leader and Jammu Kashmir National Front, chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan Wednesday said that India has planned to revenge the people of Budgam in the garb of re-poll.

He also said that India wants to harm the Kashmiri people economically.

Issuing a statement during his continuous house detention, Khan said that “after facing befitting reply at the hands of Kashmiri people during recently held shame elections, New Delhi and its local collaborators have decided to revenge the people of Budgam for their courageous resilience and resistance. So New Delhi and its local paid agents have announced a re-poll in the district.”

He however said that India will face another humiliating defeat at the hands of Budgam people.

Khan said that New Delhi is trying to create an environment which could hit the local economy so that the freedom loving people of Kashmir are made to surrender. “This imperialistic tool has already been used against the people of Kashmir time and again and they are familiar about such tactics of oppression and suppression,” he said and added that the recent poll boycott should serve as a message to India and the world that the goal of every Kashmiri is nothing less than the right to self-determination.
