SRINAGAR: Leader of Opposition and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Sunil Sharma, on Friday said that the April 22 Pahalgam attack will be avenged and the perpetrators will be hunted down and taught a lesson, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Sharma said, “Everyone is aware that PM Modi fulfils his promises. We will have to wait, but the revenge for the Pahalgam attack will be taken. Those responsible will be hunted down.”
He said that the country has seen change under the leadership of PM Modi.
“The time has gone when other countries dared to undermine Bharat. This is Modi’s Bharat and those responsible will be brought to justice,” he said. “Even after facing attacks like Uri, Pulwama, and Pahalgam, Bharat continues to uphold the values of humanity. India has never compromised on these values and has witnessed growth. However, some people unhappy with this growth are trying to disturb peace and target innocents.”
He added that PM Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have already promised that the Pahalgam terror attack will be avenged. “India stands firm and follows the values of humanity in letter and spirit,” he said.
Sharma also remembered Adi Shankaracharya and greeted people on the occasion of Shankaracharya Jayanti. (KNO)
