SRINAGAR: The Army on Saturday announced that it had foiled an infiltration attempt in the Keran sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
In a post on microblogging platform X, the Army’s Chinar Corps stated, “On November 7, 2025, acting on specific intelligence inputs about an infiltration attempt, a joint operation was launched in the Keran sector of Kupwara.”
“Alert troops detected suspicious movement and challenged the infiltrators, who responded with indiscriminate firing. Contact was established, and the terrorists were subsequently trapped. The operation is ongoing,” the post added.
