SRINAGAR: Army on Thursday claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid by killing an unidentified militant in Keran sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
A Srinagar based Defence spokesperson Col Rajesh Kalia said an infiltration bid has been foiled along the LoC in Keran sector.
He said one militant has been killed and one AK 47 rifle recovered in an ongoing gunfight.
A search operation is currently on in the area, he added.
