SRINAGAR: Border Security Forces on Monday shot dead a person who was allegedly trying to infiltrate the border along with Samba sector of Jammu region.
SSP Samba Rajesh Sharma told news agency GNS 48 battalion of BSF foiled the infiltration bid along with the Samba sector.
“Whether he is militant or a civilian was not immediately known. The area is already under alert,” he said.
