An injured Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militant was on Wednesday arrested by forces in Kund village of Kulgam in southern part of Kashmir, reports said.
A police official told Kashmir Life that Aaqib Ahmad, a resident of Rangath Noorabad, was arrested from the same area where a fresh gunfight broke out.
Aqib according to reports had received injuries during yesterday’s gunfight with the forces, sources said. He had slipped into forests during the gunfight.
Meanwhile, a gunfight is going on in Kund village. Two militants are reportedly trapped inside the cordoned off area.
