Condemning Ink Attack on MLA Langate Er Rashid in Union capital when he was coming out after addressing press conference on Monday afternoon, MLC and Vice-President J&K Pradesh Congress Committee GN Monga stated that such incidents are highly unacceptable and against the democratic rights.
Describing attack on Rashid as undemocratic, Monga said, “India which is one of the largest democracy of the world cannot afford such things, as these are the reflection of intolerance and a move to undermine the democratic setup of the Country.”
Expressing serious concern over this incident, he said, “every individual enjoys freedom of speech and freedom of expression, the incidents like this shall be treated as an attack on Indian democracy.”
