SRINAGAR: The Health and Medical Education Department has initiated an inquiry into allegations against a doctor serving at SDH Magam.
According to an order from the Health and Medical Education Department, Dr Shafkat Khan, the additional Director of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, has been appointed as the inquiry officer. He has been instructed to submit a report within 15 days.
Dr Khan will conduct a thorough investigation into the allegations levelled against Dr Imran Masood, who is posted at SDH Magam, regarding a breach of professional ethics.
The order stated, “The Inquiry Officer is required to present a comprehensive inquiry report within a (15) day timeframe, accompanied by specific recommendations and valid justifications, if any, for supporting the initial case, to be further examined by the Anti-Corruption Bureau, as recommended by the General Administration Department.” (KNO)
