SRINAGAR: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered a formal inquiry into the case of unauthorised absence of the then Accounts Assistant posted in the Office of Deputy Director Prosecution, Srinagar.
According to an official order, sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Ishfaq Ahmed Pandith, Joint Director, Jammu and Kashmir Funds Organisation, as Inquiry Officer to inquire into the matter of unauthorised absence of Raja Tahir Hussain, the then Accounts Assistant, Deputy Director Prosecution, Srinagar.
Abdul Bari Deva, Accounts Officer, Directorate of Accounts and Treasuries, Kashmir will be the Presenting Officer in the case. The Inquiry Officer shall complete the inquiry and submit a report within a period of 15 days from the date of issuance of this order, reads the order. (JKNS)
