SRINAGAR: The meteorological department has issued a warning for light to moderate thundershowers with brief intense showers and gusty winds in several areas of Kashmir.
Residents of Anantnag, Kulgam, Qazigund-Banihal axis, Poonch, Gulmarg, and adjoining areas, as well as parts of Central Kashmir, are advised to take necessary precautions during the next 1 to 2 hours.
The forecast also indicates that the weather is likely to bring thunderstorms accompanied by heavy rainfall and strong winds. The authorities are urging people to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel during this period to ensure their safety.
