SRINAGAR: A Pakistani intruder was gunned down by the BSF along the International Border in Jammu’s Samba district on Wednesday evening.
A local news agency quoted sources reported that on Wednesday evening, alert BSF troops of 125 BN noticed suspicious movement of a person who crossed the International Border from the Pakistan side in the Samba area.
“The intruder was challenged by the troops, but he kept advancing towards the border fencing. The troops then fired at him and shot him dead,” it reported.
The sources said that the area is being searched, and further details are being ascertained. (KS)
