A very low voting turn out is being witnessed in South Kashmir, which is voting for the Islamabad Lok Sabha seat on Thursday.

According to a government spokesman 16.46 percent voting was recorded in Islamabad district up to 11 am.

The spokesman said that 14.12 percent voting was recorded in Kulgam district up to 11 am.

The impact of poll boycott was visible in Pulwama district where only 2.71 percent voting was recorded till 11 am.

Same was the case with Shopian district where only 8.66 percent voters had cast their votes till 11 am.
