Islamabad police arrests buglers with stolen good

Islamabad Police on Wednesday has arrested three buglers during the questioning at police station Islamabad.

The spokesman said the case of burglary at a shop located in old General Bus Stand Islamabad was registered in Police Station Islamabad under FIR No. 314/2017 under section 457, 380 RPC and investigation was set into motion.

Umar Mukhtar Dar son of  Habibullah Dar, Mubashir Ahmad Dar son of Mansoor Ahmad  Dar and Aasif Ahmad Rah son of  Gh Mohd Rah, residents of Rahpora Khudwani Kulgam confessed to the crime and stolen goods worth lacs of rupees were recovered from their possession.

“Further investigation of the case is in process. More recoveries are expected,” the spokesman added.

Meanwhile, Islamabad police on Wednesday has recovered a stolen vehicle at Nowgam near the railway crossing Srinagar.

The vehicle belongs to Umar Yousuf Mantoo son of Mohammad Yousuf Mantoo resident of Waghama Bijbehara.

Umar had reported in Police station Bijbehara along with a written application stating that his sumo vehicle bearing registration No JKO3C-9804 along with the documents has been stolen by the unknown person.

On this report, a case FIR NO 212/2017 under section 379/RPC was registered and an investigation was taken up.
