Pulwama: Islamabad police recovered a girl who was abducted yesterday and arrested the accused involved in the crime.
Yesterday police post Sherbagh, Islamabad received a written complaint from one person (name withheld) that his daughter was kidnapped by one Bashir Ahmad Khan son of Qasim Khan resident of Donipawa Islamabad. On this information, Police Post Sherbagh lodged a report and investigation was set into motion.
After strenuous efforts, Police recovered the girl and arrested the accused from Court Road Islamabad. After completion of legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her parents.
A case FIR number 24/2017 under section 363, 342, 109 RPC was registered in Police Post Sherbagh.
