Parts of South Kashmir Monday witnessed complete shutdown amid protests over the “arrest of three youth” charged with stone pelting.

Sources said that in Islamabad town, shopkeepers downed their shutters and traffic plied minimally as the town seethed with anger over the detention of youth.

Mirwaiz South Kashmir Qazi Yasir has reportedly threatened to go on hunger strike if all the arrested youth were not released.
