SRINAGAR: The Islamic University of Science and Technology is inviting online applications for the engagement of contractual Assistant Professors for teaching, research and allied academic activities. Candidates can apply online before January 1, 2023, and submit the hard copy of the form before January 3, 2023.
The subjects in which the academic arrangement is sought are Arabic, Actuarial Mathematics, Biochemistry/ Clinical Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, English, Environment Science, Information Technology, International Relations/ Peace and Conflict Studies, Islamic Studies, Journalism, Kashmiri, Mathematics, Medical Lab Technology, Political Science, Philosophy, Physics, Theology/Religious Studies (with specialization in Spirituality/Sufism /Mysticism/ Comparative Studies), Statistics, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science (MCA), Management, and Architecture.
The monthly emoluments for candidates having Post graduation (except architecture) is Rs 45,0000, candidates having NET/SET/GATE is Rs 48,000, candidates having PhD is Rs 50,000, candidates having NET/SET/GATE and PhD is Rs 50,000 and candidates having BArch/MArch is Rs 50,000.
The tenure of the contract shall be three years or till the post is filled on a permanent basis whichever is earlier. Selections will be made on the basis of academic merit and interview.
