Jamaat-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, called for unity among the ranks of leadership so that Kashmir issue can be settled according to the wishes of the people.
“Unity among the leadership is necessary because it is a great hindrance in the way of resolution of Kashmir issue,” Jammat chief Mohammad Abdullah Wani said while speaking at a function held at the Jamaat head office.
He added “Jamaat is of the opinion that Kashmiris should unite to fight for their just cause.”
Jamaat organized an Eid-Millan in which prominent persons of almost all the ranks of society were invited.
