On Monday morning, a delegation of Jama’at-e-Islami (JeI) Jammu and Kashmir paid a visit to octogenarian, ailing Hurriyat Conference (g) leader, Syed Ali Geelani at his residence in Srinagar’s Haiderpora.
JeI delegation led by its Ameer Ghulam Mohammad Bhat comprised of many top level officials including its former secretary general Dr Hameed Fayaz.
The visit came in the backdrop of Geelani’s poor health. The leader complained of severe breathing problem yesterday following which he was advised by his doctors to stop interacting with people.
“The Hurriyat leader has shown significant recovery since yesterday and offered his Fajar prayers at his residence on Monday,” a top Hurriyat leader told Kashmir Life.
Jama’at delegation is the first to meet Geelani since yesterday. Other than Jama’at leaders, a senior Hurriyat Conference (m) leader, Javaid Mir also paid the visit.
