Jama’at-e-Islami (JeI) J&K Tuesday rubbished the statement of a unionist politician and a former minister.
Pertinently, former minister, Gh Hassan Mir, in an interview has alleged that JeI had “supported PDP in 2002 elections”. “JeI helped me in 2002 elections but opposed me in 2008,” he had said.
“The former Minister has levelled baseless and false allegations against Jama’at-e-Islami J&K vis-à-vis the last assembly elections,” a statement from JeI said this afternoon. “It is ridiculous and as such not worth-consideration. In fact such elements on losing power lose their proper senses and issue baseless and false statements out of frustration.”
