“A high level delegation of Jama’at Islami Jammu and Kashmir led by its chief spokesperson visited the home of the Shaheed Omais of Chatapora Pulwama and paid glowing tributes to the martyr who sacrificed his youth along with thousands others to help the oppressed nation of Jammu and Kashmir to achieve its basic Right of Self Determination which was promised to them by the rulers of India through the medium of the Security Council of the United Nations Organization but so far this promise is not being fulfilled despite constant demand of the oppressed people and by use of the state power the genuine voice of the people is suppressed and in this brutal process thousands of innocent people have been murdered and thousands of innocent women deprived of their precious chastity besides destroying residential houses on the large scale,” a Jama’at statement said this evening.
