Srinagar
A top Jamat-e-Islami leader and his son were arrested during a raid in south Kashmir’s Islamabad district on Saturday.
Reports said that the police raided the house of Gulzar Ahmad Bhat and detained him along with his son Aqib Gulzar.
Bhat is the Tehsil President of Islamabad who hails from Uranhall village of the district.
It is the second such arrest in a day. Earlier, the District President of Jamat-e-Islami was booked under Public Safety Act who led funeral prayers of professor, Dr Mohammad Rafi Bhat.
