Mirwaiz Umar Farooq underscored the importance of spiritual devotion during Ramzan and highlighted the significant influx of worshippers to Jamia Masjid during this time. He stressed the need for meticulous arrangements, particularly in maintaining cleanliness, and called for uninterrupted electricity and water supply, efficient traffic management, and other essential facilities. In this regard, he urged the Auqaf to coordinate with the relevant authorities to address these needs effectively.

He also encouraged the youth to actively participate in these preparations, noting that serving the mosque and contributing to these efforts is a form of worship with immense spiritual rewards.

As part of the preparations, Jamia Masjid is undertaking an illumination project and facade lighting, which is expected to be completed before the commencement of Ramzan. Additionally, special audio-video equipment is being installed in the women’s section of the mosque to enhance the prayer experience.

The Anjuman-e-Auqaf Jamia Masjid has urged the public to contribute to these efforts, ensuring a spiritually enriching and well-organised Ramzan for all worshippers.
