Jamiat-e-Ahl Hadees Jammu and Kashmir Friday evening condemned “grenade attack” on one of its member, Zubair Ahmad Tahiri at Batamaloo last evening. He is son of Abdul Rashid Tahiri.
In its statement, Jamiat Ahl Hadees said, “it is a cowardly act. We condemned it in strongest words.”
The statement further said, “we expect the attackers will be exposed soon.” The statement added, “there was no human lost but damages to house and car of Zubair.”
However, police spokesperson refuted any grenade attack in Batamaloo last evening.
