SRINAGAR: The Office of the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, has designated nodal officers for all ten districts of the Jammu division to supervise District Control Rooms and ensure effective redressal of public grievances related to essential commodities.
The directions were issued vide Order No. 01–DIVCOM (J) of 2026 dated April 3, 2026, from the Divisional Commissioner’s office at Rail Head Complex, Jammu.
According to the order, the designation of nodal officers is aimed at addressing grievances of the general public concerning essential commodities and strengthening the monitoring and functioning of District Control Rooms.
As per the order, Anil Kumar Thakur, JKAS, ADC Doda (Mob: 9419155339) has been designated as nodal officer for Doda, with control room numbers 01996233497 and 9596776203. Mohd Sayeed, JKAS, ACR Poonch (Mob: 9419199936) has been designated for Poonch, with control room number 01965220888. Haroon Naik, JKAS, AD, FCS and CA Jammu (Mob: 9419140842) has been designated for Jammu district, with control room numbers 7051017652, 9596824145 and 9419839557. Nitin Verma, JKAS, ACR Reasi (Mob: 9419199489) has been designated for Reasi, while no control room number has been specified.
Sandeep Kumar Sharma, DSEO Rajouri (Mob: 7006461715) has been designated for Rajouri, with control room number 01962295895. Sh. Shafqet Ali Keen, AD, FCS and CA Kishtwar (Mob: 7006745842) has been designated for Kishtwar, with control room number 01995259555. Sh. Rahul Gupta, AD, FCS and CA Jammu (Mob: 7006421239) has been designated for Samba, with control room number 01923241004. Sh. Niamatullah Sheikh, AD, FCS and CA Ramban (Mob: 9419211234) has been designated for Ramban, with control room numbers 01998295500 and 01998266790. Sh. Vishal Angurana, AD, FCS and CA Udhampur (Mob: 7006852373) has been designated for Udhampur, with control room number 01992272727. Sh. Mohd Sagir, AD, FCS and CA Kathua (Mob: 9419167819) has been designated for Kathua, with control room number 01922238796.
The order further states that Naresh Kumar, JKAS, Additional Commissioner in the office of the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu (Mob: 9419146662), has been designated as the nodal officer at the divisional level and will coordinate with all district nodal officers to ensure effective grievance redressal.
The initiative is aimed at improving accountability and ensuring timely resolution of public grievances related to the availability and distribution of essential commodities across the Jammu division.
